Most of the victims are children and the elderly. Rickshaw driver Sohel Mia said that it is difficult to drive a rickshaw due to the heat. If I don't drive a rickshaw, how will I maintain my family?
Abdul Quddus, a juice seller in the Nimsar area of the upazila, said that juice is being sold more than ever in summer. However, due to the excessive heat of the sun, people are coming out less. If there were people, the sales would be more.
